Bani Fondo
Is a non-governmental organization established in 2019 and officially recognized on July 8, 2021.
Its activities span the entire territory of Niger, reflecting its status as a national organization. The NGO Bani Fondo was founded with the aim of assisting vulnerable populations in Niger and around the world.
Funded by the United States Ambassador to Niger, Bani Fondo is a member of the Protection and Education clusters, as well as SONAH and Charter 4 CHANGE.
Overall Objective
Contribute to promoting the rights of the most vulnerable communities through a participatory targeting approach and the implementation of measures facilitating their access to basic social services.
Assignment
Contribute to the self-advancement of the most vulnerable communities by facilitating their access to education, protection, safe water, hygiene and sanitation, food security, and sustainable empowerment, as well as by combating illegal immigration and disease.
Vision
Advocating for the emergence of a world where everyone has equitable and inclusive access to basic social services. Hence the motto: “Development means the sustainable flourishing of people, their activities, and their environment.”
Zones d’intervention
Regarding its development support activities, the organization’s area of operation comprises the Niamey, Dosso, Tillabéry, and Tahoua regions.
The organization can operate anywhere in Niger and anywhere in the world.
Our Intervention Strategy
The NGO BANI FONDO’s approach is based primarily on a participatory process in which local populations are treated as full partners in the selection, implementation, and management of all actions or action programs they decide to undertake.
The NGO BANI FONDO will align itself with strategic directions as well as with development objectives at the communal (PDC), regional (PRD), national (PDES), and international (SDG) levels, and the PRSP (SDRP).
Implementing the environmental component requires the development and execution of a series of actions, ranging from raising public awareness so that people recognize the link between environmental degradation and the problems they face to identifying and selecting the appropriate measures to take.
The NGO BANI FONDO will work in close collaboration with other partners (technical services, NGOs, projects, etc.) to ensure that its intervention is integrated and remains in harmony and alignment with all local interventions.
